For the 2021 RSA Design Awards, entrants were challenged to look at says in which we can harness social media to bridge societal divides. A key divide I identified during research was that of knowledge, particularly of our ever-changing world.
I tackled this by creating Climate Collective, a knowledge-based app that allowed users access to climate information, global progress, stories from the community, and the ability to track their own learning.
With the core idea in mind, I created a brand for Climate Collective designed to be inclusive, welcoming and warm, focusing on the very best aspects of our world and what we can do to protect it.
I then applied the brand to a working prototype of the app, complete with examples of content to explore, information to save, progress to track, and most importantly the means of sharing this information with others.
